Digital Strategy Director

Location: Dallas, TX, United States

Paradigm is a software company transforming how the residential construction and building product industries operate across the globe. We are looking for a Digital Strategy Director to help shape our long-term digital vision and ensure that customers, field teams, and the business capture value from our digital products.

In this role, you will provide strategic direction that guides enterprise priorities and influences product execution. You will translate industry insights, financial considerations, and user data into clear recommendations that drive adoption, improve customer outcomes, and inform decision making. While this role does not own product development or operational delivery, it is accountable for shaping priorities and aligning stakeholders to achieve measurable results.

What You Will Do

  • Provide strategic leadership that informs digital direction, enterprise priorities, and key investment decisions.
  • Use market, competitive, and internal insights to guide long term planning, influence financial outcomes, and shape strategic priorities.
  • Own the creation executive level materials such as storyboards, whitepapers, and strategic communications for the Board of Directors, Quarterly Business Reviews, Steering Committees, etc.; that articulate Paradigm’s/Builders FirstSource’s long term digital vision.
  • Lead strategic analysis of digital product performance and adoption trends, turning insights into actionable recommendations that improve value realization across the business.
  • Drive development of dashboards, reports and presentations to support ad-hoc strategic analysis and point of view (including external) engagements).
  • Influence product and end user priorities to address barriers, enable key workflows, and improve user outcomes, ensuring alignment without owning product development or support execution.
  • Create and facilitate a bridge between product, operations, support, and end users to align strategic goals, guide measurable adoption improvements, and ensure insights translate into action.
  • Direct the planning and execution of Paradigm’s rhythms of business for strategic planning, including prioritization, KPI visibility, and multi year planning alignment.
  • Build business cases, strategic narratives, and cross functional alignment that connect digital investments to enterprise objectives.
  • Mobilize and oversee the delivery of strategic initiatives. Track enterprise level KPIs tied to digital value realization, providing transparency into progress, risks, and strategic opportunities.

What You Need to Succeed

  • 8+ years experience (ideally) in management consulting, digital strategy, corporate strategy, business operations, or a similar analytical role.
  • Proven ability to translate data, market dynamics, and financial analysis into strategic recommendations and enterprise decisions.
  • Experience influencing cross functional priorities without direct ownership of execution (product, field, operations, support partnerships).
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience informing multi year investment decisions and evaluating strategic trade offs.
  • Exceptional research, writing, storyboarding, and executive presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead multiple high impact initiatives simultaneously in a fast paced, evolving environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Familiarity with digital product performance metrics, value realization, or adoption-based decision making is a plus, but not an operational ownership requirement.
