Paradigm is a software company transforming the way that the residential, construction & building product industries operate across the globe. We are looking for a Front End Application Developer to be part of revolutionizing these industries.

Our Software Development Team is re-innovating our suite of applications in an AWS and Azure-hosted SaaS web application.

What You Will Do:

• You will get to see the big picture and understand the architecture.
• You will think creatively to intertwine business needs while focusing on an intuitive user experience.
• You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a variety of teams, projects, and stakeholders.
• This role is a good mixture of team brainstorming and individual work.
• You will have opportunity to join the Community of Practice with other front-end developers to share practices and guide on web standards.
• You will develop completely new features and improve existing software.
• You will participate in designing the API contracts used to connect to the back-end.
• You will occasionally participate in client meetings as the Subject Matter Expert; an opportunity to really see how your work will be used!

What You Need to Succeed:

• You will need critical thinking, including creative development skills, requirements analysis capabilities, and proven problem-solving skills.
• You will have experience developing in a modern IDE.
• You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent), or equivalent professional experience
• 2+ years of object-oriented programming in a professional environment preferred.
• You need to be dependable, organized and enjoy working in a changing/fast paced environment. We are Agile! You can take direction and work independently to creatively meet business objectives.
• Preferred tech stack: front-end development using React/Next.js, Material-UI, and TypeScript with experience consuming REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Familiarity with Git, TypeScript, ReactJS/Next.JS, Axios, Jest, React Testing Library, CSS, and HTML, GraphiQL and Jira Ticketing.
• You have familiarity with development tools like Postman, Fiddler, Browser DevTool extensions. It would be beneficial if you have experience with Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, Balsamiq or other UI mocking tools
• Experience with back-end technologies like C#, Java, T-SQL, developing REST-full APIs

Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. Most roles at Paradigm have three levels, Associate, Mid and Senior. Our pay ranges are inclusive of all three levels (if applicable), our US based Associate level pay begins at $60,000 annually for this role. The salary does not reflect total compensation, which includes base salary and benefits. These compensation levels are subject to an annual review.
